Most insurance companies do provide Mental Health coverage. In order to insure you have coverage, always contact your insurance company prior to your appointment. Please note that your medical insurance carrier and your mental health carrier may be two separate entities.

It is always the patient’s choice about having anyone else present during a session, however, the provider may need to treat the patient alone at times. Nobody can insist on joining a session without the patient’s consent.
